That was no fault of any of the players - and yet Jagex won't return any items to anybody that is a victim of it. I do remember reading when they trialed such a thing, and they said there were too many fakers.

One Trick Mage Hacked
I've been hacked in WoW before - still no idea how it happened. I had all my things returned to me - and it was a very easy process.
I suppose this isn't just about hackings - it's about Jagex support in general. Been falsely banned on WoW - got unbanned 17 minutes after putting in my ticket. Got false banned on RS, get a copy and pasted link to FAQ telling me mistakes don't happen. Not turning this into an appeal, so I'm not going to plug my RSN - I really just think Jagex needs to step up their support - because quite frankly it's garbage.
