Kumkum Bhagya Full Story

Kumkum Bhagya which is also known as Twist of Fate is an Indian soap opera which was created by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms for Zee TV. The tv series premiered on 15 April 2014 and has starred Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia in the lead roles. It is loosely based on the novel Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.

The series was produced and developed by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms and is directed by Sameer Kulkami. The show is popular due to the chemistry of the leads. Kumkum Bhagya received acclaim throughout its run, becoming one of the most popular television shows.

the series follows the love story of a famous musician, Abhi, who marries Pragya, initially thought to be the love interest of the person who was the crush of Abhi’s sister, but ends up knowing the truth and falls in love with her. The pivotal characters of this show are strong, feisty women, living together in an all-female matriarchal family.

The series started as the story of Pragya and Bulbul, and their mother, Sarla’s hope to see them married, but as time went by, the show revolved around Abhi and Pragya.

On 18 March 2019, after Abhi and Pragya’s separation in the show, a twenty-year leap was introduced. Post-leap, Pragya, and Abhi are shown separated from their twins. Mugdha Chapekar and Naina Singh are introduced as Abhi and Pragya’s separated twin daughters. The series now will focus on Abhi, Pragya and their young college-going twin daughters Prachi and Rhea.

In Kumkum Bhagya, Pragya (Sriti Jha) has finally left the Mehra house. Tanu and Alia are very happy that Abhi has forgotten a part of his life – especially his marriage with Pragya and fight with Alia.

On the other hand, Purab is worried about his friend Abhi. Since Alia and Tanu, who are guilty, are still happy with Abhi. And Pragya, who deserves to be with Abhi, is made to stay away from him – just because of doctors advice that if he is pressurized to recall his past, he would fall into a coma!

Pragya
Pragya reaches Abhi’s office for the interview. She is happy to see Abhi’s poster around. The receptionist who got promoted as a manager takes Pragya’s interview.

Manager
She reveals to Pragya that she is overqualified for the job, but still the latter accepts the job. Pragya is excited to be around Abhi and doesn’t listen to what the manager tells her.

Alia & Tanu
In the upcoming episode, Alia calls Tanu to reveal her plan over the phone. Tanu, who hasn’t met Abhi yet, is excited to meet him and reveals the same to Tanu.

Alia Worried
Pragya comes to the office for the job, while Alia is unaware that Pragya has been appointed as a receptionist. Alia feels she saw Pragya at the office and looks worried!

In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya, Pragya returns to the bank to be with Abhi. She decides not to leave his side. Abhi sees Pragya and asks her why did she return to the danger zone.

They start fighting the robbers. Just then the other rescued people also decide to go and help Abhi, Pragya who are fighting for their safety.

As all fight, the robbers, the head of robbers senses something wrong and returns to find Abhi and Pragya fighting his men. He asks his men to kill all the hostages. But the commandos enter on time and the encounter begins.
All the hostages are freed. King enters the building and hugs Pragya as he finds her safe. Abhi feels hurt seeing Pragya with King.

Abhi is then hit by one of the robbers in his head. Pragya gets worried about seeing him bleeding and runs to look for a doctor. Alia, Tanu along with Purab and dasi enter the bank and get worried for Abhi seeing him bleeding.
Pragya decides to leave Abhi with his family. As Abhi is walking in the bank, a robber shoots at policemen and King saves Abhi from the robbers. Alia is surprised to see King helping Abhi.

Alia warns Tanu against harming Pragya. She asks Tanu to take care of Abhi and not be worried about her beauty. Tanu feels irritated and prays that Pragya dies soon.

At Pragya and King’s home, Pragya is worried for Abhi and how he would have felt seeing her with King.
King tells Pragya that Kiara loves her mother the most. And he says that she should never repeat such a thing and says don’t leave Kiara alone at all.

Chachi ji tells the former about how much King had missed her when she was held at the bank.

Kumkum Bhagya written update, March 25, 2019: Prachi comes face-to-face with her twin sister Rhea

The latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Pragya and Abhi talking to each other over the phone. However, due to bad weather, they can’t recognise each other’s voice. Pragya and Abhi feel a connection and think that they spoke to someone known.
Chachi serves food to Sahana and Prachi and it’s very less in quantity. Prachi consoles Sahana. Later, Abhi hands over the phone to chachi.
Prachi thinks about her mom and tries to call her but is unable to connect because of bad weather.
Beeji comes and informs that she spoke to Surinder and the girls are fine. Pragya thinks about Prachi. Beeji tells her that she had told Prachi about Abhi’s bad behaviour towards his wife and daughter. She tells Pragya that she had manipulated Prachi’s mind against her father for her good.
Pragya thinks of visiting a gurudwara to pray for Prachi and Sahana’s first day at college.
Prachi and Sahana enter the college and are mesmerized to see an uber cool atmosphere.
Rhea enters the college and tries to rag Prachi and Sahana. She tells them to slap a nerd. However, Sahana challenges that if Prachi succeeds, then Rhea would have to kiss the same nerd. Rhea accepts it. Sahana advises Prachi to handle it with her brain.
Prachi comes up with a plan and cracks a deal with the guy. He happily accepts Prachi’s offer to get slapped, in return for Rhea’s kiss.
